 | Greg & Rebecca Nelsen Email us at gbnelsen@yahoo.com View Rebecca's homepage at: Actor and Web Designer Actor Greg Nelsen’s interest in the theater began in his high school days in Texas when he decided to exchange stadium lights and football pads for stage lights and costumes. While still in high school Greg starred in several productions and won accolades including All-Star Cast in the Texas University Interscholastic League State Theater competition. After a brief sojourn into mechanical engineering at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas - Greg realized that he would never be truly happy outside of the theater and changed his major. While studying acting, directing and dance at Texas Tech, he appeared in many musicals, ballets and plays including, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, You Can’t Take it With You, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Die Fledermaus, Ballet Futura, Ballet Twin Flame, The Nutcracker, and The Taming of the Shrew. Greg has lived in Vienna since August of 2003 with his wife, Rebecca, who is studying opera on a Fulbright Scholarship. He has appeared on stage in Vienna in leading roles with the Vienna Theatre Project in The Nina Variations at Theater Drachengasse, and Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Ensemble Theater. |
